Huon Aquaculture are looking for a well-organised and proactive candidate to join our Electrical and Lighting team as a Farm Attendant. Operating from our Port Huon lighting shed, this is an exciting opportunity to join our Electrical and Lighting team.
As part of our Lighting and Electrical team you will assist our electricians with all aspects of our year round lighting project. This includes all the installation and maintenance of our underwater lighting both on and off the water and general maintenance of lighting related equipment. You may also be required to assist with other ad-hoc electrical related project work as and when required. Successful applicants must have the ability to work a 7 on, 7 off roster.
Successful Candidates will have:
- A valid driver’s licence
- An eye for detail and the ability to work unsupervised.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to use Microsoft Office (Word/Excel & Outlook).
- The ability to work as part of a small team and a love of the outdoors.
- Basic Electrical knowledge and/or completion of a Certificate II in Electro-technology (or similar) is desirable but not essential
It is an inherent requirement of this position that work be performed safely whilst upholding Huon’s Values. The appointed person must be able to build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders. Knowledge of work health and safety regulations is preferred.

Remuneration for this role is dependent on knowledge and/or experience.
