We’re looking for a Logistics Manager who can take a very capable team from good to great, while shaping logistics operations that support our growing, fast-moving and sustainability-focused business.
The opportunity
This is a leadership role with real impact — coaching, developing and empowering your team while shaping logistics operations that support a growing, fast-moving business.
You’ll lead and develop a high-performing logistics team, driving operational excellence, continuous improvement and strong partnerships across the supply chain. What you’ll be doing
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing logistics team, building capability and confidence
- Take the team from good to great, embedding clear expectations, strong rhythms and a continuous improvement mindset
- Plan and manage logistics operations that support Huon’s sustainable aquaculture operations, ensuring reliable and cost-effective delivery
- Work closely with front-line farming and processing teams, Tasmanian corporate stakeholders and our global sales team
- Partner with freight providers to optimise service, manage risk and support continuity
- Use data and insights to drive performance improvements and smarter decision-making
- Lead change across systems, processes and ways of working as Huon continues to scale
- Champion safety, quality and sustainability in everything you do
