ABOUT THE ROLE

As a key member of our Go to Market team, you will play a crucial role in advancing our Company Innovation strategy. You will:

• Drive Our Innovation Agenda: support Huon with cutting-edge food product developments, including processing, ingredients, and product advancements.
• Innovate Packaging and Storage: Provide expert recommendations on packaging, delivery, preservation, and storage to enhance product quality and sustainability.
• Collaborate for Safety: Work closely with research, quality assurance, technical, and production teams to establish safety standards and resolve production challenges while ensuring food safety.

ABOUT YOU

• You have relevant tertiary qualifications and experience within food technology. 2+ years of experience in food product development, R&D, or a similar role.
• You have strong understanding of ingredient functionality, formulation, and food processing techniques.
• You have experience with sensory evaluation, data analysis, and technical report writing.
• Knowledge off food safety regulations and quality assurance practices in Australia.
• You have demonstrated experience in product specification, development, and maintenance.
• You have intermediate Microsoft Office suite skills.
• You are an excellent communicator with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• You can adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• You are proactive, resilient, and can effectively manage your workload.
• You have a keen eye for detail and a focus on continually looking to improve processes.
