The role

Our Port Huon Workshop is seeking a dedicated and energetic individual to join the team as a Trade Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual wanting to kickstart their career or further your career in the world of trades. This position will give you an exciting insight into the work that goes into building and maintaining Huon’s fleet.

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will play an important role in supporting the team and optimising the efficiency of workshop operations. Your responsibilities include:

• Assisting trades people with various tasks on-site as required to support the workshop operations.
• Organising and maintaining tools, equipment, and materials.
• Following safety protocols and adhering to company policies and procedures.

This opportunity is a full-time position and operates on 4 days on, 3 days off roster.
