Huon’s People and Culture Team have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate professional who loves recruitment to join the team. The Talent and Pathways Advisor is a key member of the team who will be responsible for supporting leaders with all recruitment and talent pathways matters and have a keen eye for identifying and attracting talent within the current and future market.

The opportunity

Reporting to the Head of People and Culture Operations, the focus areas for the role are:  

• Partner with recruiting leaders, providing coaching and support and advising on best practice strategies for talent attraction and the recruitment process
• Own the recruitment cycle, working with the broader P&C team to deliver talent outcomes across Huon
• Establish and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Participate in career expos, community events, school talks, site tours and collaborate with our Organisational Development to implement the talent attraction strategy
• Showcase your best ideas and initiatives related to all things recruitment

To be successful

You need to be an experienced and professional practitioner in the recruitment and talent pathways space who can come in and hit the ground running.

The key skills and attributes we are looking for are:

• The ability to listen and relate to people at all levels, including managing different opinions and conflicting priorities.
• Previous experience in a recruitment / talent attraction environment with a focus on outcomes including candidate experience, including supporting and developing leaders
• A track record of successfully delivering the end-to-end process of recruitment, demonstrating flexibility and resilience in a fast-paced team and workplace
