In this role, you’ll help shape the future of how our business works – designing, building and improving the digital tools and integration that powers Huon’s day to day operations. What You’ll do:

• Design, develop and deploy custom software and data interfaces.
• Improve and maintain digital platforms used across our operations.
• Support systems integration using API’s and modern development tools.
• Work on large-scale datasets aligned with business needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver user-friendly, efficient solutions.
• Support the Senior Software Engineer on projects and service delivery.
• Follow agile methodologies to deliver outcomes on time and with impact.

What You’ll bring:

• A qualification in IT, computing, or a related field – or equivalent experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with development tools, API’s and integration practices.
• A solid understanding of data design, and agile development methods.
• Great communication skills and a collaborative, team first mindset. 
• A knack for problem solving and a desire to keep learning and improving.
• The ability to work screen based for extended periods.
