Are you passionate about working on the water and have a willingness to learn? We have the job for you! Our Southern region On-Water Farm Operations site, located near Dover, is looking for a motivated individual to join the team in the role of Feed Trials Assistant.
The role
The Feed Trials team conduct trials in partnership with feed suppliers to test how different feed types impact fish growth and health. As part of a close-knit team, the Feed Trials Assistant will help ensure the upkeep of trial pens and assist with broader fish health related tasks as required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintenance, cleanliness, and upkeep of trial pens and nets.
- Monitoring fish health management, ensuring welfare of the fish is maintained.
- Accurate data collection and performance tracking of trial fish, observing and reporting on feed rates, fish behaviour, performance, and environmental factors to support informed decision-making.
- Monitor and manage daily feeding schedules to align with project plans and trial requirements.
Located at Hideaway Bay near Dover, this is a fulltime opportunity working a 3 on 4 off, 4 on 3 off roster.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships within a team.
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail with well-developed analytical and reporting skills.
- Confidence in using the Microsoft Office suite.
- A commitment to working safely in a dynamic environment, identifying risks, and taking appropriate action.
- Bonus points for experience on the water and relevant qualifications and tickets.
