We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to oversee our fish processing facility, improving operations and driving excellence across every stage of production. This is a great fulltime opportunity for a strong leader with experience in an FMCG industry.

The role

The Production Manager plays an important role in leading the daily operations of our fish processing facility, ensuring efficiency, safety and product quality. Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing production schedules and resource allocation to meet operational targets
• Driving compliance with WHS, HACCP, GMP, and relevant food safety regulations
• Leading and developing staff to build a skilled, high-performing team
• Overseeing product quality, inventory control, and waste management
• Implementing continuous improvement and maintenance coordination to enhance performance and reduce costs

About you

With proven leadership and technical expertise in food production environments, you will bring:

• A hands-on leadership style with the ability to manage and motivate diverse teams in a fast-paced, shift-based setting
• A good understanding of food safety standard and regulatory compliance
• Strength in production planning, equipment oversight, and rapid problem-solving to maintain efficiency and minimise waste
• Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills to collaborate effectively and support continuous improvement
