The role
As the Operations Support Analyst, you will work closely with managers across the business, supporting them in understanding and using our data management systems to their full potential. With your strong interpersonal skills, you’ll collaborate with Planning, IT, and operational teams to enhance how we capture, report, and act on data.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the smooth and accurate flow of data across our systems and reports.
- Coaching and supporting team members to confidently use data tools and systems.
- Overseeing biological and asset tracking data, maintaining quality and resolving discrepancies.
- Conducting audits, uncovering insights, and delivering clear, actionable reports to internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinating daily harvesting data and keeping stakeholders informed with timely updates.
Operating on a full-time basis, this opportunity is located at our Hobart Office with travel to sites as required.
About you
- You bring relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in business analytics and/or aquaculture.
- You’re confident with data systems and Microsoft Office, but even more confident working with people.
- You’re proactive, resilient, and thrive when juggling multiple priorities.
- You have a sharp eye for detail and a drive to improve how things work.
- You’ve contributed to projects and worked with stakeholders to enhance data processes.
- Your communication skills help you build trust and strong working relationships across the business.
- You’re adaptable and open to change, always ready to learn and grow.
