Huon is looking for a Feed Barge Technician to join the team at our Margate site, ensuring all feed systems on our barges are maintained and serviced to high standards.
Working a 7 days on, 7 days off roster, responsibilities will include:
- Scheduling feed system maintenance and repairs
- Servicing and maintaining Huon's growing fleet of feed barges
- Managing feed communication and environmental monitoring equipment
- Planning and executing short-term and long-term work plans and implementing process improvements
- Providing direction to your allocated Trade Assistant
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
About you
You will bring:
- Knowledge and experience in mechanical and electrical systems, preferably Huon's feed systems
- High self-motivation and ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills
- Effective planning and organisational skills
