The Role:
Reporting to the Subsea Manager, our ROV crews are responsible for the safe and efficient piloting of the ROV, including the basic maintenance and repair of the unit.
As an ROV Pilot or ROV Attendant, you will carry out detailed inspections on our farm infrastructure, perform bottom surveys as well as carry out search and recovery and stock footage. Pilots and Attendants will have the opportunity to operate a variety of Inspection class ROVs.
About You:
These positions will suit people looking for a challenging role, and the ability to contribute greatly to daily marine operations. Successful candidates will have:
- A technical background with good attention to detail;
- The ability to work as part of a team and make decisions under pressure;
- Well developed communication skills;
- Competent with MS Office;
- Video editing skills, aquaculture diving certifications, and previous experience operating ROVs and deck machinery is desirable.
Successful applicants will have the opportunity to receive relevant training and experience operating several types of commercial grade inspection class ROVs in challenging conditions.
