Apprentice Diesel Mechanic

We are looking for a motivated Apprentice Diesel Mechanic to join our maintenance team in the Southern region! This full‑time, four‑year apprenticeship is a hands‑on opportunity to learn from experienced tradespeople while working with a wide range of diesel and petrol-powered equipment used across our operations.

What you’ll do

• Assist with servicing, diagnosing, and repairing diesel engines, generators, outboards, and machinery
• Carry out routine maintenance such as oil changes and filter replacements
• Support the upkeep of heavy vehicles, vessels, and aquaculture equipment
• Learn to troubleshoot mechanical issues and apply safe work practices
• Participate in training, mentoring, and apprenticeship coursework
• Work as part of a team to keep equipment running efficiently

What you’ll bring

• Minimum Year 10 (Year 12 preferred)
• Interest in mechanics and hands‑on work
• Willingness to start trade qualifications and attend training
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks
• Reliable, safety‑focused, and keen to learn
