Right now, we’re on the hunt for a Customer Support Officer superstar to join our team and help keep everything running smoothly.
The role
This is a hands-on, high-impact role where no two days look the same. You’ll provide critical operational and administrative support to the Customer Service team — keeping orders moving, systems humming, inboxes under control, and daily checks spot on.
Your work enables our Customer Service Representatives to focus on what they do best: building relationships and resolving issues — while you keep the engine running behind the scenes.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll play a key role in the day-to-day rhythm of our Customer Service function, including:
• Assisting with export order uploads, confirmations and Air Waybill (AWB) updates
• Completing daily order checks and end-of-day processing
• Managing Metcash portal order processing and invoice reconciliation
• Supporting wholesale and export order confirmations
• Managing the shared Customer Service inbox, triaging and allocating requests
• Providing overflow support during peak periods or team leave
• Maintaining accurate records, documentation and system data
• Spotting opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy and workflow
• Following safety, compliance and data integrity standards
• Pitching in with ad hoc tasks when needed — teamwork is everything here
What we’re looking for
You’ll thrive in this role if you’re organised, detail-driven, and love being part of a supportive team. Ideally, you’ll bring:
• Experience in administration, order processing or customer service support
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Confidence using ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office
• The ability to manage repetitive, deadline-driven tasks with ease
• Strong organisation and time management skills
• A proactive, team-first mindset
