We are seeking a skilled and safety‑focused Electrician to support our extensive Underwater Lighting Program across our marine operations. This hands‑on, on‑water role offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to work with specialised equipment that supports fish health and performance
About the role
Working a 7 days on, 7 days off roster, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing underwater lighting systems and associated electrical infrastructure across our marine sites.
Key responsibilities include:
• Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting lighting systems, generators, and sub‑boards
• Completing scheduled preventative maintenance and managing the Lighting MEX Asset Registry
• Testing, diagnosing, and repairing electrical faults
• Ensuring all work meets specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements
• Identifying hazards and contributing to a strong safety culture
About you
You’re a qualified electrician who enjoys practical work, problem‑solving, and being out on the water. You bring a strong safety mindset and a proactive approach.
You’ll also bring:
• An Australian A‑Grade Electrical Licence and experience working to Australian Standards
• Strong decision‑making skills and the ability to work independently
• Effective communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships
• Comfort working on the water and in challenging weather conditions
• A commitment to ongoing learning, improvement, and safe work practices
