About the role
We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated Maintenance Electrician to join our Engineering and Maintenance team. This hands-on role is essential in supporting repairs and preventative maintenance across our net cleaning and ROV equipment, both on land and at sea.
You will be responsible for fault finding, maintaining a comprehensive range of spare parts and ensuring our vessels and equipment operate safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Perform General Electric repairs and maintenance across plant, vessels and equipment
- Compete preventative maintenance schedules
- Manage and maintain net cleaning equipment, generators, sub boards, and voltage regulation systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults
- Ensure work meets specifications and quality standards
- Identify and mitigate hazards and WHS risks
- Participate in training and development activities
Qualifications and experience
- Minimum 3 years post trade experience
- Australian ‘A’ Grade Electrical licence
- Current and valid drivers licence
- Proven ability to work autonomously and manage projects end to end
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
Desirable Skills
- Mechanical knowledge
- Optical fibre experience
- Experience with DC/AC systems
- PLC programming, VSD’s, gensets, AKVA FNC8’s
- Coxswain certification or the ability to obtain
