🛠️ About the role

Working alongside our experienced Net Maintenance team, you'll help ensure our fish and bird nets are maintained to the highest standard. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Repairing, maintaining and preparing fish and bird nets.
• Roping, stitching and repairing nets in line with standard operating procedures.
• Assisting with splicing and other net maintenance tasks.
• Monitoring nets for predator activity, including seals and birds, and reporting any issues.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment.
• Following company policies, biosecurity requirements and safety procedures.
• Completing risk assessments and contributing to a strong safety culture.
• Participating in ongoing training and development opportunities.

👤 About you

You'll be someone who enjoys practical work, takes initiative and values being part of a supportive team.

You'll also have:

• A current driver's licence or reliable transport.
• A strong attention to detail and the ability to complete work accurately.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• The ability to follow procedures and work safely.
• Experience in aquaculture, marine farming or a similar industry is an advantage, but not essential.
