Our Hygiene team based in Ingleburn is growing, and we're looking for reliable and hardworking Hygiene Process Operators who take pride in maintaining high standards. At Huon, we know that producing premium seafood starts with maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant processing environment. As a Hygiene Process Operator, you'll play an important role in ensuring our facility operates to the highest food safety and quality standards.

What you'll be doing

• Cleaning and sanitising processing equipment and machinery in line with hygiene schedules and food safety requirements.
• Operating a forklift to move hygiene equipment, waste bins, and cleaning supplies.
• Preparing and using cleaning chemicals safely and correctly.
• Maintaining cleanliness across production areas, including floors, drains, walls, and workspaces.
• Assisting with the dismantling, cleaning, and reassembly of equipment during routine and deep cleans.
• Completing hygiene records and checklists to support food safety compliance.
• Identifying and reporting hygiene, maintenance, or safety concerns to the Hygiene Team Leader.
• Working as part of a team to maintain a safe, efficient, and audit-ready environment.

What we're looking for

• Current Australian forklift licence (essential).
• Ability to safely undertake physical work, including lifting up to 15kg.
• Comfortable working in a food processing or industrial environment.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and following procedures.
• Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous cleaning, hygiene, manufacturing, or processing experience will be highly regarded.
