Current Opportunities

We are seeking an experienced Bath Team Leader to join our team at Hideaway. This full-time 7/7 position plays a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of fish bathing operations while leading and supporting a small crew.

Working closely with the Well-Boat Manager, you will coordinate the Bath Crew, plan daily priorities and tasks, and ensure all bathing activities are completed to the highest operational and welfare standards. You will also oversee the basic maintenance of bathing equipment, allocate resources effectively, and maintain quality throughout the bathing process.

As a leader, you will monitor fish husbandry practices, support continuous improvement initiatives, and assist in the development, coaching, and performance of your crew.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous bathing experience and a strong understanding of bathing operations within aquaculture;
• Sound knowledge of fish husbandry practices and fish welfare;
• A valid Coxswain qualification;
• Demonstrated experience leading, developing, and motivating a small team;
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships;
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail;
• A commitment to safety and maintaining high operational standards.

Due to the remote nature of our sites and limited public transport options, a current driver's licence is required for this position.

It is an inherent requirement of this role that work is performed safely while upholding Huon's values. Knowledge of workplace health and safety legislation and best practices will be highly regarded.
